What a Weekend!
Friday started off quite miserable weather-wise, but once inside the hotel we soon changed that, as the flags went up and the lights plugged in, the tables covered with cloths and sweets, the room was transformed. The DJ arrived with his gang of helpers and soon set up the music.
The lovely Natalie, our singer for the evening got organised and had a quick practice. Into our rooms and get ready for dinner, good food served on time as they know we start at 7.30 pm. The evening was a success, lots of music, Natalie’s excellent singing and so many dances, the floor was never empty. We got to bed around 1.30am
Up for a good English breakfast and down to the workshop where Andrew and Shelia taught us four new dances, some easy, one tough, now my head hurts.
