Line Dance South
Welcome to our web site, where you can find everything you need to know about Corinne and Mike and details of our line dance weekends at The Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth. We hold these weekends three times a year and they are a great chance for you to let your hair down while leaving your worries at home.
Every weekend we welcome back friends from all over the country who have enjoyed the weekends so much, they have become regulars. Not only do we welcome back the regulars but we are more than happy for newcomers to join us.

Corinne
I have been line dancing for around 6 years, starting when I was invited to a 60th birthday party where Calico were performing. My very first line dance was when I was dragged up to join in "Cheeseburger". I was then invited to go along to a class at a club known as Dreamweavers. Keen to improve, I used to pick up the sheets and music every Wednesday and go home and practice at the weekend in the kitchen with the help of Mike ready for the class the following week. The first dance I learnt was "Whiskey in the Jar" and after mastering that one and the basic steps, the rest was easy... well sort of!
Mike
I am a driver for BMW, sometimes working late and always rushing to get to our line dance classes in Andover and Salisbury, making it by the skin of my teeth most weeks. I am also a Southampton football season ticket holder and am at every home match, so it is sometimes difficult to fit everything in with the organising of our weekends but between Corinne and I we manage to do it.
